  Notes	The Record and Herald News, 16 Dec 2005 Robert E. Bassett Jr. BASSETT - Robert E. Jr., aged 92, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Robert was born in Ridgewood on November 7, 1913. He lived in Ridgewood and Wyckoff before moving to Glen Rock 40 years ago. Robert was a Machinest for Wright Aeronautical in Woodridge for 35 years before his retirement in 1978. Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Dorothy (nee Verduin), his children, Robert Edward Bassett III and his wife Sally of Chapel Hill, NC, and Dorothy Ann and her husband Henry Abma of Troy, PA. Also surviving are six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and his brother William Bassett of Tinton Falls, NJ. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10 AM at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park. Interment will follow in the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery. Visiting is Friday 7-9 PM.
