Mildred M. Bassett
LEOMINSTER ? Mildred M. (Sloucum) Bassett, 82, of 10 Pleasant Place, died Tuesday, April 26, in Keystone Center.
She was born on Dec. 29, 1922, in Crayville, La., the daughter of Armand and Myrtle (Singletary) Sloucum.
She worked as a floor lady for Eusey Press for 23 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Leo?s Parish in Leominster.
Mrs. Bassett is survived by one son, Charles Weatherford of Cedar Springs, Ga.; one daughter, Joanne Laca of Lake Forest, Calif.; one sister, Barbara Alison of Louisiana; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Bassett.
BASSETT ? On April 26, Mildred M. (Sloucum) Bassett, 82, of Leominster. Funreal services are private and at the convenience of the family. Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster, is directing arrangements.
