Moran E. Bassett
MAYODAN ? Moran Everett Bassett, 67, of Rt. 1, died Thursday at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital in Eden.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Clearview Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. Pete Price officiating. Burial will be at Horse Pasture Baptist Church in Horse Pasture, Va.
A native of Henry County, Va., he was a retired employee of Washington Mills.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Nancy Ladd Bassett; stepdaughter, Mrs. Peggy Gilley of Stoneville; sisters, Mrs. Catherine Edwards and Miss Adeline Bassett of Martinsville, Va., Mrs. Janie White of Danville, Va., Mrs. Ester Norman of Petersburg, Va.; brothers, Hunter Bassett of Collinsville, Sam Bassett of Danville, George Bassett of Bassett, Va; two stepgrandchildren.
The family will be at Ray Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today, and at other times at the home of Mrs. Peggy Gilley, Rt., 3, Stoneville.
