Teresa Bassett, 92
IRVINE - Teresa Bassett, a former Lake San Marcos resident, 92, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008, from age related illness. Teresa was the widow of Russell Bassett, who died in 1999. Both were members of the Lake San Marcos Golf Club. Teresa is survived by her son, Gary (Katalin) Bassett; daughter, Emilie Bassett (Jeff) Mason; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Edward, and grandson, Beau. No services will be held. Remembrances may be sent to Friends of the Bassett Memorial Library, PO BOx 2008, Wawona, Calif. 95389. Teresa Bassett
Teresa Bassett, 92, formerly of Kendallville, died Wednesday, jan. 30, 2008, in Irvine, Calif. She was the daughter of Vincent and Josephine Stoeckley. In 1939, she married Russell Bassett, of South Milford. They moved from Indiana to California in 1945. They owned and operated a custom business furniture manufacturing company in Whittier, Calif. She was a housewife and bookkeeper. She is survived by her son, Gary (Katalin) Bassett; daughter, Emilie Bassett (Jeff) Mason; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert (Beatrice) Stoeckley of Fort Wayne.
