Minerva Gardner, Practical Nurse, Called By Death
Mrs. Minerva Gardner, 74, a practicual nurse in Chico for the past 20 years, died yesterday morning after a lingering illness. Mrs. Gardner had lived in this vicinity all her life.
A native of California, Mrs. Gardner lived in Butte City before coming to Chicgo. Her husband, the late William Henry Gardner, was the Justice of Peace of that city for many years.
She is survived by three brothers: Mark Bassett of Williams, Eugene Bassett of Burney and a borhter in Oakland. A sister, Mrs. C.E. Watson of Gridley, also survives.
Funeral services will be held at the Nugent Funeral Chapel Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the family plot in Dayton Cemetery.
