MARRIED - in San Francisco, Nov. 30th, at the residence of the bride's
parents, by Dr. O.P. Fitzgerald; Henry Heckert of York (Penn.), and Miss
Dollie A. Bassett of San Francisco.
The bride is the daughter of J.M. Bassett, one of the editors of the San
Francisco "Post", and formerly of the "Republican" of this city, and the
bridegroom is a gentleman from Pennsylvania. They were married at 2 o'clock
last Saturday afternoon at the residence of the bride's parents. The young
couple left San Francisco on the steamer John L. Stephens for Portland,
Oregon, where they propose to spend the Winter. The estimable young bride has
many intimate and warm friends in Stockton, who will ever rejoice to learn of
her happiness and good fortune.
