She was a faithful Christian and a member of the Cary Church of Christ. Surviving: daughters, Carol J. Osborn and husband, Gene of Raleigh and Sylvia M. Hoover and husband, Robert of Folsom, Ca.; son, Ronald H. Bassett and wife, Dee of Columbia, MO; sister, Marian C. Hanauer and husband, Earl of Ft. Wayne, IN; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Bassett, brothers, Chester, Alvin and Donald Carr and grandson, Stevan Boles. A graveside service will be held Thursday at Maplegrove Cemetery, Hudson, MI. Friends may calla t the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, 7-9 p.m. today.
