Nicholson on 3 April, 1827 in Ripley County, Indiana. He married Julia Elizabeth McGee, born 30 Oct, 1829 in Jefferson County, Indiana and died 13 Dec, 1911 in Ainsworth, Iowa. Thomas J. Nicholson married Julia Elizabeth McGee and had Thomas J. Nicholson, Jr. He and wife Emily Thersa Crawford had Myrtle Viola Nicholson (my grandmother), David Dwight Nicholson and May Nicholson. Hope that helps and doesn't just muddy the waters more! I would love any earlier info you may have about William Basset &/or Margeret McQuiddy. When they came to America and from where?
