Donat L. Bessette, Jr. 1953-2007 (Picture included)
DAYVILLE – Donat L. Bessette, Jr., 54 of Gendreau Drive died Friday, December 7, 2007. He was the loving husband of Margaret “Peggy” LaRoche. Born in Putnam, he was the son of Donat L. Bessette Sr. and Marie A. (Fortin) Bessette, both of Danielson. Mr. Bessette worked as a forklift operator for Lowes previously working for Pacon. He was an avid drummer playing with Smokey and the Country Rangers for 10 years. He was a member of St. Bernards’ Council Knights of Columbus. Besides hi wife and his parents, he is survived by a brother, David Bessette and his wife Maria of Brooklyn; a sister, Patricia Berthiaume, and her husband Steve, of Griswold; three step-sons, Ryan Frechette of Beacon Falls, CT, Brent Andrews and Kyle Frechette both of Danielson; a step-daughter, Jodi Andrews of Parsiptemy, NJ, three step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 11, 20078 in St. Josephe’s Cemetery. Valade Funeral Home has been entrusted with his arrangements.
