Virginia was born September 29, 1924 in Rockford, IL, to Oscar and Hazel Bassett McAllister. She was a member of the Phelps Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. SHe is survived by her children, Beth (Marcial) Garcia of Newark, Stephen (Mary) McAlliaster of Phelps, Michael McAllister of Lyons, Harold (Jackie) McAllister of Phelps, Bonnie (Clarence) Fagner of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harold, son David, and grandson, Luis Garcia. Spring burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
