Bass of Vancouver, who died Sept. 2 of cancer at age 57. Brad C. Bass was born Nov. 18, 1950, in Portland and raised in Medford. He served in the Army in the Vietnam War. He lived in Newport before moving in 1989 to Vancouver, where he was a home mortgage consultant for Countrywide Home Loans. In 1988, he married Randi Gibson Sinclair. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Heather Lind; stepdaughter, Sunita Sinclair; son, Brad Jr.; stepson, Terry Harvey; sister, Mary Carlson; brother, James; the woman who raised him, Cecelia Rayburn; and eight grandchildren. Remembrances to General Post Funds at U.S. Veterans Hospital in Portland. Arrangements by Holman-Hankins-Bowker & Waud.
