Burial was in the church cemetery. He died Tuesday in Duke Medical Center. Surviving are a son, Clay Bass of Rougemont; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Cameron of Hurdle Mills; a sister, Mrs. Nancy Warren of Timberlake; three brothers, Henry Bass and Lynn Bass, both of Rougemont, and Earlie Bass of Roxboro.
