Shelia Bass
Shelia Bass Smith, 55, passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Smith, and her parents, Charles Wayne Bass and Ruby Gerald Miller.
Left to cherish her memory are her significant other, Earl Bowman of Godwin; her daughter, Tina Comfort (Michael) of Dunn; her sons Joshua James Harrington (Tammy) and Dalton Smith (Jessica), all of Dunn; and her sister, LouAnn McKoy (Christopher) of Dunn. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren; and two nephews, Adam Beasley and Tracy Beasley of Dunn.
Shelia loved the outdoors; she enjoyed going on nature walks, trips to the beach, and the mountains. She also cherished spending time with her family and going to church. She worked as a pharmacy technician for over 15 years.
There will be a visitation for friends and family Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home, with a service at New Beginnings Worship Center in Erwin Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 at noon with Betty and Ronnie Jones officiating. The service will conclude with a burial at Spring Branch Cemetery.
The family would like to receive visitors and friends of Shelia any time at their home at 71 Edna John Ct, Dunn.
Services are provided by Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home, Dunn.
