Mrs. Mary Alice Bass, 74 of Cornelius, NC died unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep Sunday July 1, 2012. Born June 1, 1938 in Charlotte, she was the daughter of the late Ernest A. Alexander and Agnes Hutchinson Alexander. Private oceanfront services will be conducted at the Isle of Palms S.C. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons; Jon Bass of Charlotte, Mark Bass of Waxhaw; daughter, Beth Devereaux of Brandywine, MD; grandchildren, Mason, Carson, Morghan and Molly Bass.
