Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Redden and Arrie Kitchens Bass. She attended the Boone Town Church of God of Prophecy. Surviving are her husband, Farley L. Pierce; a son, james T. Bass of Camden; brothers,, Lee V. Bass of Kershaw, Earnest Bass of Newberry and Lewis Bass of Clinton; and sisters, Mrs. Janie Price and Mrs. Allie Pierce, both of Kershaw, Mrs. Ike (Mary Lee) Ruby of Cassatt, Mrs. James (Jeanette) Banks of Bethune and mrs. Leroy (Betty Ruth) Seegars of Camden. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Cauthen Funeral Home, Kershaw Chapel.
