Patricia Mary Doran (1939-2011)

Patricia Mary Doran, nee Bassett, 72, of Belleville, Illinois, born May 31, 1939, in Birmingham, Alabama, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Swansea Care Center, Swansea, Illnois. Mrs. Doran was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret, nee Bogan, Bassett; one sister, Beverly Chinn; and one grandson, Ronnie Joiner. Surviving are her husband, Ronald A. Doran of Belleville, Illnois; four daughters, Susan (Roger) Harris of Belleville, Illnois, Janet Joiner of Cahokia, Illnois, Donna Weeks of Belleville, Illnois, and Dorothy (Alan) Johnson of O'Fallon, Illnois; five grandchildren, Roger Harris, Mary Harris, Sasha Joiner, Shayla Garcia and Lauren Weeks; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas (Nancy) Bassett of Mt. Rose, Nevada. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com. Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011, at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, Freeburg, Illnois, 612 North State Street, Freeburg, Illnois, with Pastor Bruce Keseman officiating.
