Pretty Ceremony Takes Place in Presence of Two Hundred Guests
Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the home of the bride?s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Schellenberger, in the town of Baraboo, southeast of North Freedom, their daughter Katherine was given in marriage to William Bassett. Reverend Baum officiated. About two hundred guests were present to witness the ceremony which took place at 4 o?clock in the afternoon.
The bride wore white silk and the bridesmaids, Miss Platt and Miss Claus, also wore white. The bride carried white roses and the others carried white carnations. The bride?s brother Carl and her cousin Wm. Schellenberger acted as best men.
The happy couple received many beautiful presents. They will live at the home of her parents for the present. They have the best wishes of the community for a long, prosperous and happy life.

Last Rites Of Wm. Bassett
Funeral services for William Bassett were held on Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, the Rev. E. C Henke officiating. Selections were given by a quartet consisting of T.R. Williams, Fred Templin, Dr. D.W. Weaver and Hallam Weed, with Mrs. A Ch. Reisz at the organ.
Pallbearers were Warren Bellows, William Latotzka, Paul Marquardt, Ernest Bittrich, Louis Martin and Dwight Welch.
Burial was made in the Baraboo cemetery.
People from out of town who were here to attend the services included Mrs. E.J. Carley, Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. E.J. Peterson, Sheboygan; Mr. and Mrs. Willis Zorn, Eau Claire; and Mr. and Mrs. John Eitel and son, Dean Goodman, Waukesha.

Wm. Bassett Dies Today
William Bassett, 46, died this morning at his home at 714 Birch street following a several weeks? illness.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter Viola, and three brothers and two sisters, A.K. Bassett, Hollis Bassett and Charles Bassett, who reside in and near Baraboo, Mrs. George Holmes of Baraboo and Mrs. John Vitel of Waukesha.
The remains were taken to the Schelble and Dyrud undertaking parlors.
Funeral services are to be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o?clock at the home and at 2:00 o?clock at the Presbyterian church. Rev. E.C. Henke, officiating. Interment will be made in the Baraboo cemetery.
