Annie Mae Bass
Annie Mae Hood Bass, 78, of Evergreen, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 31, 2024, at her residence.
Annie was born on June 27, 1945, daughter of the late L.E. Hood and Hattie Rousse Hood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe G. Bass and her brother, Milton Hood.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Boardman Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service, at Annie's home.
The surviving family includes two children, Joann Bass Nobles (Greg) of Chadbourn, Michael G. Bass (Ginger) of Nakina; grandchildren, Jennifer Edwards, Megan Bass Reaves, Lily Bass; great-grandchildren, Nathan Edwards, Mason Edwards, Faye Catherine Reaves; siblings, Max Hood (Margie) of Evergreen, Polly Gray, Earl Hood, Alene Cohoon, all of Wallace, SC, Carolyn Oster of Cheraw, SC, and Ricky Hood of Union, SC.
The family wishes to thank three special caregivers, Alisha Snowten, Annie Snowten, and Sheila Johnson for their loving care shown to Annie during her illness.
