Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on Nov 17, 2019 due to heart complications. Ralph was born Oct 5, 1938 to Gerald Goodwin Bassett and Rhea Daniels Bassett in Payson, Utah. Ralph married his sweetheart Eva (Jolley) Bassett on June 2, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised 3 amazing children. He is survived by his wife Eva, children Perry Bassett (Susan), Lisha Bassett, Kyle Bassett (Holly), six grandchildren, Reagen, Pierce, Jence, Ian, Alexandria and Nicholas.
Ralph was employed in the Health Industry at Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 40 years where he met his wife at a company bowling league and it was love at first sight! They were married for over 59 years and enjoyed traveling all over the country together. They also spent quality time with his grandchildren boating, camping, overnights in Eden, Antimony and golfing in St George. He loved bow hunting, fishing and watching sports with his family and friends. Go Utes! He had a great sense of humor and a smile thru out his life and maintained a positive attitude as he endured many health challenges.
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday Nov 22, 2019 at the Spring Run LDS Building at 3382 E Spring Mtn Drive, Eagle Mountain, UT A viewing will be held on Thursday Nov 21st from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home 1007 W. So Jordan Pkwy, So Jordan, UT Final Resting Place: Pony Express Memorial Cemetery 4648 N Eagle Mountain Blvd., Eagle Mountain, UT. The family wishes to thank his many lifelong friends for always being there for Ralph and all of your home visits. Also thank you to his caregivers, Greg Whitney and Trevor Darious his Physical Therapists. Lastly many thanks to the Soffe family for their friendship and kind support of Ralph and our family during this time.

Ralph was born Oct 5, 1938 to Gerald Goodwin Bassett and Rhea Daniels Bassett in Payson, Utah. Preceded in death by his parents and older brother Jerry Bassett.
Ralph married his sweetheart Eva (Jolley) Bassett on June 2, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they raised 3 amazing children.
He is survived by his wife Eva, children Perry Bassett (Susan), Lisha Bassett, Kyle Bassett (Holly), six grandchildren and innumerous friends and associates.
