Born in Ludlow, she resided in Springfield most of her life. Florence was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Edward J. Houle; 4 sons, Kurt Houle of Indian Orchard, David Houle, Jay Houle and Eric Houle, all of Ludlow; 3 daughters, Cheryl Ricapito of Springfield, Lynn Garvey of Holland, Karen Lajoie of Chicopee; 15 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday morning at the Ratell Funeral Home, 200 Main St., Indian Orchard, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
