She was born in Ludlow, MA on January 1, 1946 grew up in Westfield and was a 1964 graduate of Westfield High School. She worked at Providence Hospital for many years. She received her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Westfield State College in 1993. Dorothy enjoyed genealogy and scrapbooking. She leaves her children William F. Hauschild Jr. of Chicopee and David J. Hauschild of Westfield, her grandchildren Katelyn Laurin and Julia Hauschild. She was pre-deceased by her husband William F. Hauschild Sr. in 2007.
