Charles Thompkins (Tommy) Bassett
LILBURN, GA. Charles Thompkins (Tommy) Bassett, 50 of Liburn, Ga., died
Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Emory Dunwoody Medical Center in Atlanta,
Georgia. A grave side service will be held Saturday, December 3, 2006 at
2 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman H. and Alva Bassett.
Tommy is survived by his daughter, Alana Michelle of Liburn, Ga.;
sisters, Mary Alva Stark (Victor) of Cumming, Ga., Beth Duffy of Panama
City Beach, Fla.; brothers, Norm Bassett (Carole) of Keedysville, Md.,
Bill Bassett (Jo Ann) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; aunt, Elizabeth Hilbish
Morris of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Tommy was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School and attended The
University of Alabama. He was employed by APCO Corporation of Norcross,
Ga.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in the Memory
of Tommy to the Alana Bassett Trust Fund, c/o Beth Duffy, 3927 Vega
Street, Panama City, FL 32408.
