Dr. James Shull officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia. Mrs. Bassett, 92, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001, in Philadelphia. She was a retired nurse. Survivors include a daughter, Dwight Bassett Shelton of Columbia, S.C.; a son, Frank Bassett of Philadelphia, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, French Camp Academy, Palmer Home or a favorite charity. Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
