Mary E. Adamson (1927 ? 2018) (Picture included)
Mary E. (Bessette) Adamson, 90, passed away on January 10, 2018. Born September 23, 1927 in Holyoke, MA, daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary (Gow) Bessette. Mary was a life long resident of S. Hadley and a former member of the First Congregational Church. She worked as a secretary years ago at the Judd Paper Company in Holyoke. In her leisure, she enjoyed sewing, reading and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and always wanted to make sure they were cared for. She will be deeply missed by two children, Susan Kosior of South Hadley and David Adamson of Ashfield, MA. She will be especially missed by her one and only, Melissa Kosior her grandchild of South Hadley. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Hugh Adamson in 2013, a sister Doris Bessette and a brother Wilfred F. Bessette. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation National Processing Center, PO Box 1245, Albert Lea, MN 56007-9976.
