      PERRY ? Myrtle C. Bass, 86, died Monday May 10, 2004. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2004 (TODAY), at First Baptist Church of Perry. Bass was born Dec. 25, 1917, in Tift County and was the daughter of the late Ada and Joseph Cox.
      Survivors include a son, James Bass (Louise) of Perry; a sister, Imogene McLaughlin of Macon; grandchildren, Kim and Kelly Spillers and Daniel Bass (Traci), all of Perry, and Cherie Carter of Fort Valley; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
