Stephen Lawrence Bass, 74, of Bartlett, TN, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, November 7, 2021.
Steve was born in Pensacola, FL, on September 17, 1947, to CD and Betty Lou Bass. He was a graduate of Tate High School. Steve proudly served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He married his beloved wife, Judy on October 24, 1970, and was a faithful husband until her death in 2003. He retired from NAS Pensacola Public Works after 30 years, as an auto mechanic. He was a long-time member of Pine Terrace Baptist Church in Milton before moving to Tennessee to be near his daughter.
He was preceded in death by Judy, his wife of nearly 33 years; his parents, CD and Betty Lou; a sister, Freda, and a brother, David.
He is survived by his son, Michael; a daughter, Christina (Missy) and son-in-love, Michael Campbell, and grandchildren, Justin, Jordyn, Savannah, Tucker, Graham, and Lexie.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 3:00pm at Bass Springhill Cemetery, 8993 Tomahawk Landing Road, Milton, FL 32570, with Brother Mike Wiggins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stephen?s name to Pine Terrace Baptist Church, 6212 Pine Blossom Road, Milton, Florida 32570, Legacy Fund.
