Timothy Bass

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved son, father, and grandfather, Timothy (Tim) Bass, May 12th, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward, and his brother, Charley (survived by Sandy Copelin). He now rests peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and stories.
He is survived by his loving mother, Janice Bass; his devoted children, Timothy (Nicole) and Nikki (Wayne) McDermott; his treasured grandchildren: Caden, Maddie, Makenleigh, Emmett, and Sullivan and nephews Tony Stith and JD Melton. His love for his family was unmatched, and he found great joy in watching his grandchildren grow.
He dedicated 38 years of his life to Cummins, where he served as a respected General Manager. His strong work ethic, leadership, and loyalty left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.
A lifelong lover of music, he found solace and joy in playing the guitar?a passion that brought him peace and connection throughout his life. His music, like his memory, will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation for Tim will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, from 9 AM to 11 AM, with a graveside service to follow at Pierce Township Cemetery.
