Death of a Well Known Colored Man
Southall Bass, a well-known colored man, of Portsmouth, died yesterday morning at his home on London street, aged 65 years. He was a member of A.M.E. Church and Morning Star Lodge No. 8, A.F. and A.M. (colored).
Funeral will take place from North street A.M.E. Church Sunday morning at 11 o?clock. The Y.M.C.A., recently organized at the above named church, will attend in a body.
