BESSETTE, Gerard (Gerry) January 12, 1929 – July 30, 2009
On July 30, 2009 Gerry Bessette passed away at the Leduc Hospital, after a four year struggle with leukemia. Gerry is survived by his loving wife, Marie Bessette and her 6 children and their families, his children: Jacqueline (Ray) Duchesneau, Nicole (Larry) Mickalyk, Norm Bessette (Colette Zich); his grandchildren: Jo-Lynn, Jennalee, Ryan, Brenna & Jaron; his great grandchildren: Sianna & Ash; brother, Jules (Rejeanne); sister, Pauline (Dan) Klan and sisters in law, Rita & Jeanne and numerous relatives and friends. Gerry was predeceased by his parents Adrien & Doris Bessette; sister Fern, brothers Real & Roger. A memorial service was held Tuesday, August 4, 2009 @ 10:00 a.m. St. Michael’s Catholic Church 5015 – 45 A Street, Leduc. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute.
