Bessette, 74, of Front Street, a retired front-end loader operator, died Monday at Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares. Mr. Bessette, and Army veteran of the Vietnam and Korean wars, was born in Lyndonville, Vt., and moved to this area in 1998 from Charlestown, N.H. Survivors include a son, Lawrence "Larry", Riverside, Ala.; a daughter, Hazel Perham, Keene, H.H.; a stepson, Mitchell Bessette, Riverside; a sister, Blanche Sheltra, Londonville, Vt.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Lake and Sumter County, 12300 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. Beyers, Astor, is in charge.
