Alan Reed Bassett passed away on May 4, 2007 in Brigham City, Utah. Funeral services were held May 10, 2007 at the Osmond LDS Church.
Alan was born May 13, 1955 in Afton. He was the son of Ammon and Lucile Bassett.
Allen grew up in Osmond, living up Dry Creek. He graduated from Star Valley High School and went to work for the saqmill and Forest Service.
Alan married Denise Yeaman in Afton on November 29, 1974. They were later divorced. He later remarried and divorced. At the time of his death his companion was Beverly Peters.
Alan loved to camp, hunt and fish.
Alan is survived by his children, Jeremy Reed Bassett, Corry Alan Bassett, Tyler John Bassett, Shaniel Lucile Bassett and Breanna Bassatt, and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ammon and Lucile, and brothers Harlo and Clarence.

Funeral services for Alan Reed Bassett will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at noon in the Osmond LDS Church.
A viewing will take place from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
