Noella R. Parent
Phoenix, AZ/Colchester, VT ? Noella Parent, 78, died on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004 of natural causes at the Fletcher Allen Healtn Care in Burlington, VT.
She was born in Eden, VT on Dec. 25, 1925, the daughter of the late Adelorde and Mary Louise (Garney) Bessette.
Noella was married to Paul Parent on June 18, 1949 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Burlington, VT. She was a homemaker and mother to her children. She and her husband spent their retirement summers in Colchester, VT, on Mallett Bay at Lake Champlain. Noella is survived by her husband of 55 years, Paul L. Parent of Phoenix; her children, Karen Cushman, Joseph Parent, Brian Parent and David Parent, all of Phoenix; Paul T. Parent of Ashburn, Virginia and MaryAnn Linkowski of Knoxville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, her brother, Andre Bessette; her sisters GIlbertha Circe and Theresa Chicoine; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Mark Parent; one brother, Gilert A. Bessette; and ons sister, Margaret G. Bessette Gelinas.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, Aug. 27, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Colchester, VTR; and a Memorial Service was celebrated on Aug. 30 in Phoenix, Arizona.
