      Divorce Claims

      Cross actions for divorce, both of which charged cruelty, came before the Chief Justice, in the Supreme Court today.
      Rupert Henry Bassett, of Murray Bridge, alleged cruelty against Vera May Bassett, of Murray Bridge, and that she had been guilty of adultery with Richard Hawes, of Murray Bridge.
      Mrs. Bassett and Hawes denied the allegations.
      Mrs. Bassett also claimed a divorce alleing cruelty by Bassett. This Bassett denied.

      The Chief Justice granted an order nisi for divorce to Rupert Henry Bassett, of Murray Bridge, in hiss action for a divorce from Vera May Bassett, of Murray Bridge, on the ground of adultery with Richard Hawes, of Murray Bridge. He dismissed Mrs. Bassett?s counter-claim for divorce.
