  Notes	The Altus Times-Democrat, Oklahoma, Tuesday, 21 April 1953 Rites Wednesday For Calvin Bass Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tims Chapel for Calvin M. Bass, Altus, who died at 1:18 p.m. Monday in a Clinton Hospital. Bass made his home with a daughter, Mrs. Rusty Steen, Altus. Bass was born Sept. 1, 1874, in Missouri and came to this county in 1908. He was a retired employee of the Altus Cotton Oil Mill. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Charles Robertson and Mrs. Rusty Steen, Altus; Mrs. Joe Masini, Gilroy, Calif.; Mrs. Leon Allen, Pampa, Tex.; Two sons, Lynn Bass, Altus; William Bass, Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; to brothers, Ed Bass, Cushing; Roy Bass, Houston and two sisters, Mrs. Ilda Bennett, Trinidad, Colo., and Mrs. Minnie Davis, Purcell. Rev. Carl Blackburn will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Altus Cemetery with Tims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
