Terry Bassett
Candler - Terry Bassett, 58, went to be with the Lord February 16, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Arvil Bassett and his mother, Bonnie Katherine Waldrop Bassett, whom he loved dearly. Mr. Bassett was also preceded in death by his brother, Robin Dean Bassett.
Mr. Bassett is survived by his wife, Kelly Jon Bassett; sisters: Kay Hunter (Kelvin) and Sue Robinson; brother, Mike Bassett (Cynthia); and several nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered as a dedicated person to his wife and family.
He was a member of Piney Mountain United Methodist Church were he volunteered cleaning. Mr. Bassett loved painting and yard work. He was always helping people and would have given the shirt off his back to someone in need.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Anders-Rice Funeral Home is assisting Mr. Bassett's family with his arrangements.
