  Notes	The News-Democrat, Paducah, Kentucky, Tuesday, November 12, 1918 Mrs. Alice Bass Newton MRS. ALICE BASS NEWTON, 42 years old, died November 7 at her home near Florence Station of blood poisoning. She was a widely known woman with many friends. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Farmer with burial in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. She leaves her husband, T. H. Newton; and seven children; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Bass; two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Boaz, of Paducah, and Mrs. E. I. Nance of Florence Station besides other relatives.
