Lillian Pichette
FALL RIVER – Lillian (Bessette) Pichette, 76, of Bates Street, formerly of King Philip Street, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the widow of Norman H. Pichette. Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Eugene and Edesse (Nadeau) Bessette, she lived in Swansea many years and in Fall River for most of her life. She had been employed by Rigid Plastics. Mrs. Pichette enjoyed baking, cooking and playing bingo. Survivors include four daughters, Pauline Smith and her husband, John, of Warwick, R.I., and Muriel Pacheco and her fiancee, Anthony Moreira, Janice Amaral and her husband, Joseph, and Barbara Confoey and her husband, George, all of Fall River; a son, Normand W. Pichette of Fall River; a sister, Dora LaPlante of Westport; a brother, Eugene Bessette of Fall River; eight grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur and Robert Bessette. Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Auclair Funeral HOme, 690 South Main St., followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, South Main Street. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.

LILLIAN (BESSETTE) PICHETTE, 76, of Bates Street, formerly of King Philip Street, formerly employed at Rigid Plastics, died Wednesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Normand H. Pichette. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Eugene and Edesse (Nadeau) Bessette, she had lived in Swansea many years ago, and in Fall River most of her life.
She enjoyed baking, cooking and playing bingo.
She leaves four daughters, Pauline Smith of Warwick, and Muriel Pacheco, Janice Amaral and Barbara Confoey, all of Fall River; a son, Normand W. Pichette of Fall River; a sister, Dora LaPlante of Westport; a brother, Eugene Bessette of Fall River; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur and Robert Bessette.
The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St., with a funeral Mass at 11 in St. Patrick's Church, South Main Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
