Loren and Ada had Franklin Bassett, born about 1874, and Sina/Lina Bassett, born about 1876, both born in Kent County, Michigan. By 1880, Loren no longer appears and Ada and the two children had moved to Grove Pct., Madison County, Nebraska, where they were living in the household of Ada's mother Margaret, and stepfather Abram Waterbury, who raised the Bassett children.
