  Notes	Oil City Visitor, Sour Lake, Texas, 20 January 1956 Dewey Bass Funeral services for Dewey Bass, 55, who died Wednesday in the M.D. Anderon Hospital in Houston, were held last Friday afternoon at 2 o?clock in the First Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. Glenn A. Dromgoole, officiating. Burial was in the Sahara cemetery under the direction of the Roberts and Pipkin-Brulin funeral home. Pallbearers were E.E. Stephens, Olan Delaney, D.D Bandy, B.O. Bandy, Charlie Freeman and G.D. Freeman. Mr. Bass was a native of Liberty County. He had lived in the Grayburg and Cleveland area the past five years. He was a farmer and member of the Baptist Church. A sister, Mrs. Bertha Delaney, of Grayburg, survives.
