  Notes	Springfield Union, April 4, 1978 Lillie E. Bassett WEST SPRINGFIELD – Lillie E. Bassett, 73, of Druids Lane, widow of John R. Bassett and a retired Springfield Armory employee, died Sunday in Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. Born in Quincy, she lived in Springfield before moving to West Springfield nine years ago and was a member of First Church of Christ, Congregational, Springfield, and the West Springfield Golden Age Club. She leaves a daughter, Barbara M. Richter of East Longmeadow; a sister, Anne Noren of Wilbraham; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A private funeral will be in the Springfield Cemetery Chapel with burial at the convenience of the family. Byron’s Allen Street Funeral Home, Springfield, is in charge. Donations may be made to American Heart Association, Western Mass. Chapter, Springfield.
