He was of the Baptist faith and attended Oakland Baptist Church. He was a proud papa, who loved his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. He also loved his work as a mechanic. He is survived by his sons, Jody L. Bass (fiancé, Kristina Yaughn) of Hazlehurst and Ronwin L. Bass of Hazlehurst, a brother, Herman (Judy) Bass of Hazlehurst, two sisters, Joanne (T.M.) Bridges of Hazlehurst and Connie Visage of Americus and five grandchildren, Cody T. Bass, Hannah Elizabeth Miller, Haley Bass, Bentley Miller and Kita Miller and several nieces and nephews.
