Mr. and Mrs. Frank I. Bassett of Skaneateles announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Margaret Decker, to Tracy C. Prentice, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Prentice, 62 Carroll street, this city. On Saturday, Mrs. Bassett was hostess at luncheon at "Krebs", Skaneateles, at which her daughter's engagement was made known to about thirty of her young friends. The luncheon table was centered with pink and white snap dragons, with sweet peas and pussy willows, in small cut glass baskets, making the long oval table a vision of pink and white. Individual corsage bouquets of sweet peas and pinks marked the places of the guests together with pink and white cut baskets as favors. Those present from out-of-town were Miss Florence Robinson, Miss Louise Rappleye, and Miss Ruth Waterman of Oswego; Miss Marianna Beaty, Miss Louise Dunckell, Miss Myrtle Bagley, Miss Lucy Prentice, Miss Mildred Foster and Miss Ruth Gage of Binghamton. Miss Bassett is a teacher in the Helen street school, Binghamton. Mr. Prentice served an apprenticeship with the Kelley Engraving Co., this city, and is now employed by the Powers' Engraving Co. in New York.
