  Notes	Springfield Union, August 1, 1952 Charles N. Bassett Charles Nelson Bassett, 67, of 13 Atwood Pl. died Thursday in Wesson Memorial Hospital. Born in Saginaw, Mich., Dec. 14, 1884, he lived in this community for over 45 years. He was employed as a packer with Forbes & Wallace and was a member of St. Joseph’s Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marlon (Trudeau) Bassett; one daughter, Mrs. William Gagne of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Edith Danahy of Lake Worth Fla., and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at Byron’s funeral home Saturday at 9.15 a.m., followed by a requiem high mass in St. Joseph’s Church at 10. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
