Mrs. Mary Bassett Casper
Mrs. Mary Bassett Casper, 68, of Stockton, CA, formerly of Charlotte, died Sept. 30, 1995, in Stockton, CA. Memorial service is 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Charlotte. Committal will follow at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Concord. Mrs. Casper is survived by her husband, G. Ray Casper; sons, Edward Casper of Stockton, CA, and Steven Casper of Charlotte; brothers, John Casper of Deltona, FL, and Dean Bassett of Charlotte; and sister, Mrs. Carrie Shelton of Southern Pines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Thomas Lutheran Church, 4013 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215. Gordon Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant is serving the Casper family.
