September 23, 2008 Tullahoma - Jack Richard Bass age 60 of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday September 23, 2008. He was born February 28, 1948 in Tullahoma, TN to the late James Henry Bass and Dolas Orene (Simmons) Bass. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Wayne Bass. Jack had worked for Navistar for 37 years as a machinist before retiring in July of 2007. He was a member of the Manteno Sportsmen's Club and was a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Peotone Lodge 636 F. & A.M. in Manteno, IL. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Beverly Blank Bass; daughters, Kelly (Jeff) Parker and Erin (Brian) Moniea; sister, Mary Ruth (Steve) VanLoon; brother, James H. (Maria) Bass Jr; grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Moniea, Jessica and Kyle Parker. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday September 25, 2008 at Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home in Indianapolis. Local arrangements are under the direction of Tullahoma Funeral Home where visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services beginning at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2008. Burial will follow in the Cowan-Montgomery Cemetery.
