  Notes	Oil City Visitor, Sour Lake, Texas, 2 July 1954 Funeral Services For Mrs. Bertha Delaney Held Here Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Bass Delaney, 63, who died at he home here Tuesday afternoon, were held at 3 P.M. Thursday in the Baptist Church, with Rev. Warren, Brown, pastor of the Port Neches Assembly of God Church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Nino Diprima, pastor of the Sour Lake Assembly of God Church, and Rev. Glenn A. Dromgoole, pastor of the Baptist Church. Burial was in Pine Ridge cemetery under the direction of Roberts and Pipkin-Brulin funeral home. Pallbearers were G.D. Freeman, Olan Delaney, D.D. Delaney, B.O. Bandy, D.D. Bandy, G.E. McCullough, W.C. Cannant and E.E. Stephens. Mrs. Delaney was a native of Beaumont, but had lived in Sour Lake for the past 46 years. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Clarence Delaney of Sour Lake; a brother, Dewey Bass of Cleveland, Texas; six nieces and 10 nephews.
