HARRIS - THOMAS GEORGE HARRIS, age 62, of Hudson, OH, beloved husband of Ann (nee Fisk), dear son of the late Ellery and Mary Elizabeth (nee Bassett) Harris, loving brother of Barbara (Bruce) Akers, Richard "Buck" (Anna) Harris, Daniel (Sue) Harris, MaryJo (Harry) Moser, Susie (David) Harris Glaser. Margaret "Peggy" (Robert) Straight, Robert (Lora) Harris and John (Sherry) Haris, dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many, died Thursday, November 11, 2010. Thomas served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 to 1973. He retired as Fleet Manager from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, where he had worked for 21 years. Prior to that he worked at Harco Corp. in Medina, OH from 1976 to 1985. In his younger years, he loved to race cars at the local racetracks. More recently, he loved to golf and work in his yard, but he especially loved spending time with his beloved wife, Ann. At Tom's request, there will be no visitation or service. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
