Rudolph A. Bessette
CLEARWATER, Fla. - Rudolph A. Bessette, 72, died Oct. 4, 2003, in Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor. He was born in Newport, Vt., and moved to Clearwater from Brookfield, Conn. in 1995. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was employed as a postal clerk. He was a lifetime member of D.A.V. Chapter 25; American Legion Post 60 in Danbury, Conn.; and the AARP. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Clearwater. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet E. Bessette of Clearwater; his mother, Blanche Bessette of Newport; a brother, Norman L. Bessette of Fair Oaks, Calif.; an aunt, Rita Donnelly of Stratford, Conn.; and two nieces, Karen Ann Bessette of Sacramento, Calif., and Diane Bessette Denwood of Oakland, Calif. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor, is in charge of arrangements.

BESSETTE, RUDOLPH A., 72, of Clearwater, died Saturday (Oct. 4, 2003) at Mease Countryside Hospital, Safety Harbor. He was born in Newport, Vt., and came here in 1995 from Brookfield, Conn. He was a retired postal clerk and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Clearwater, and DAV Chapter 25 and Danbury American Legion Post 60, both of Connecticut. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Janet E.; his mother, Blanche Bessette, Newport, Vt.; and a brother, Norman L., Fair Oaks, Calif. Curlew Hills Funeral Home, Palm Harbor.
