He was born March 8, 1946, in Beebe, Arkansas, to Paul "Mutt" and the late Ora Mae Scroggs Bass. He retired from Little Rock Coca Cola Bottling Company after twenty-two years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed fishing at his cabin in Georgetown and hunting with his buddies. He also spent a lot of time collecting guns and arrowheads. He is survived by daughters Teresa (Charlie) White of Beebe and Linda (Tim) Whitt of Bryant; one special granddaughter, Julie White; his father, Paul "Mutt" Bass of Beebe; three brothers, Jim Bass, Jerry Bass, and Donnie Bass, all of Beebe; one sister, Barbara Watts of Rison; and a host of family and good friends. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
