  Notes	CLAIRE BRUNELLE Essex Jct. - Claire M. (Bessette) Brunelle, 63, a longtime resident of Essex Jct., died peacefully in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, on Tuesday, May 18, 2010, following a brief illness. Claire was born in Burlington on Nov. 17, 1946, the daughter of Armand and Lea (Santerre) Bessette. She was a graduate of Rice Memorial High School, class of 1964. She was married on May 7, 1966, to Howard G. Brunelle at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski. Claire was employed for many years at IBM, and most recently as a secretary at Holy Family Church in Essex Jct. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and most of all watching her grandsons play hockey. Claire is survived by her husband of 44 years, Howard; two children, Todd M. Brunelle and his wife, Patricia, Dana Brunelle and his partner, Lori Basiliere; two grandsons, Evan and Dustin; her sisters, brothers and their spouses, Pauline Lee and Bob Blondin, Jeannette and Clifford Provost, Bernard and Mary Bessette, Roger and Ann Bessette, Anne and Mark Lindsay, Christine and David Blackmore; her aunt, Gertrude Viau; several nieces, nephews, extended family and many close friends. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, May 23, 2010, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the LaVigne Funeral Home, 132 Main St. in Winooski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 24 at 2 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Winooski. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
